Courses for applicants starting 2020 – 2022

Leaving school and progressing into further education is an exciting venture, the start of a completely new phase in your life. Choosing where to study after the age of 16 can be daunting.

Castleford Academy Sixth Form is an expanding sixth form offering something distinctive compared to other sixth forms. Visitors frequently comment on the special atmosphere made visible in our students, who behave with respect and tolerance to all members of the community. The pastoral care is outstanding, helping students of all abilities and from every background to develop into confident, caring and successful young adults.

Our recent results show that students are gaining excellent overall grades in their BTEC courses with an average grade of DDM. This success has led to an increased number of students being offered places at Universities across the country.

We feel that at Castleford Academy Sixth Form we offer the best possible learning environment to study Sport & Coaching, Health and Social Care or Public Services. There is no priority for applicants from any school or college.

I would like to thank you for looking into what our sixth form has to offer and hope that by reading this prospectus you will find what you are looking to gain from your post 16 education. If you have any questions or need any support with your application please feel free to get in touch.

We look forward to welcoming you to Castleford Academy Sixth Form.
