You are here: Parents - Passport to Success
Passport to Success is a program we have run for the last few years to help pupils continue their learning over the summer. It is essentially pupils’ summer homework. Our pupils have made fantastic progress this year and we want to help them maintain this high standard.
Each pupil joining us in September from Year 6 or currently at the Academy receives a Passport to Success at the end of the year and it is a booklet that features activities to complete across the summer holiday to keep pupils in the swing of using English and Maths. Passports to Success have been given out by your child’s English and Maths teachers and posted home if pupils were absent.
As I’m sure you are aware, it is crucial pupils keep these key literacy and numeracy skills engaged throughout the summer and it is for this reason that Passports to Success are compulsory. If not completed, pupils will receive a sanction in line with our discipline policy.
Year 6 into 7 pupils
You should also be completing 10 units of Lexia per week over the holidays as a minimum.
