Support will be offered to eligible pupils that are:

• isolating due to a confirmed case in their household.
• isolating due to being tested positive.
• sent home from to school to isolate due to being identified as close proximity contact with another pupil who has tested positive.

Free School Meal Eligibility

Is your child eligible for free school meals?  Please click the link below to the page of the Wakefield Council website which details what the eligibility requirements are and how to apply.   Even if you child does not actually take the free lunch, the Academy will receive a “Pupil Premium” which they spend on a range of services.  Please check the council website but you will usually qualify if you are in receipt of any of the following:

• Income Support
• Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
• Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
• Child Tax Credit with no Working Tax Credit and have an income, as assessed by the Inland · Revenue, that does not exceed £16,190
• Support under Part VI of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999
• Employment Support Allowance (Income Related) (ESA-IR)
