Core Skills created their own artwork to commemorate Remembrance Day this year. 

Pupils used a range of Remembrance Day resources to develop their ideas which were then drawn and painted on to pebbles. A Remembrance Day cross was also made and kindly donated to the pupils and to Castleford Academy.

On Wednesday 11th November pupils arranged their pebbles around the cross in the quad garden area.

Well done to every pupil in Core Skills for their enthusiasm throughout. Also, a big thank you to Mrs Smith for her help with this and to Mr Ackrill for the making and donating of the cross.
