Samuel attends the Conservative Party Conference to address current issues in Deaf Education

Samuel (Year 10) is one of 15 young people within the UK, specially selected to represent deaf children and teenagers for the NDCS Young People’s Advisory Board (YAB).  The Young People’s Advisory Board (YAB) informs the National Deaf Children’s Society what’s important to deaf young people.

Sam has been working hard to shape the support and services that NDCS and the Government provide for deaf young people.

Recently Sam attended the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester and was working with MPs to address current issues in Deaf Education – something he feels very strongly about.

We are all incredibly proud of Sam’s achievements and passion to improve standards within Deaf Education on a local and national scale!
