Academy Celebrates Hard Work and Dedication of Year 11 Pupils.

Congratulations to Year 11 pupils who have received their GCSE results this week. We recognise that this has been a very challenging time for Year 11 pupils as they were not able to sit their final exams this year. The grades that they have received are a true reflection of their ability, work ethic and the skills and knowledge they have gained over the last two years. We are delighted with their achievements and very proud of the time they have spent at Castleford Academy. We hope that their individual success will be a springboard to a very bright future. We wish them well with their next steps in their education and training.

The Chair of Governors John McNichol added “We wish all year 11 pupils every success in the future and thank parents for their support over what has been a very challenging year.”

The Headteacher George Panayiotou beamed, ‘We are delighted with the achievements of Year 11 pupils; they have always been great ambassadors for the academy. Remember to always aim high, work hard and success will be inevitable.’ Associate Headteacher, Daniella Cook added, ‘Well done to all Year 11 pupils. We are very much looking forward to celebrating pupils’ achievements at GCSE Presentation Evening in November.’
