The Curriculum at Castleford Academy

The curriculum at Castleford Academy is well planned and ambitious for all pupils. At KS3, the National Curriculum is the basis for a well-planned and coherent curriculum that builds on knowledge and skills.  At KS3, 4 and 5, knowledge is mapped and interleaved throughout curriculum plans to ensure learning is revisited. The academy use ‘Big Ideas’ to enable subjects to make links between learning.  Below are the links to the Big Ideas for all subjects.
